It'll be 85 years since the commencement of the Spanish Civil War this July and I propose a group build covering all subjects 8n any scale, both civilian and military, including aircraft, armour, naval, vehicles, figures etc., from the period between the official start and finish dates of the conflict; 17th July 1936 to 1st April 1939.
There are lots of interesting and unusual potential subjects and if there's sufficient interest I propose the group build to run from the anniversary date of Saturday 17th July until Tuesday 31st August inclusive, a couple of days over 6 weeks.

We did this in 2013 but I'd probably be interested in another go.

Yes - I had a look. I think 5 years is the minimum time period to have passed so at 8 years it's ok from that perspective if there's enough interest.beany wrote:We did this in 2013 but I'd probably be interested in another go.

As far as aircraft go, there are loads of kits available these days and relatively easy conversions for aircraft on the republican side, which for the most part don't need specific decals, just painted red stripes and number codes, which reminds me; I need to get me another Bulldog quick so I can do both the RAF and Republican schemes!
Some possible inspiration below anyway:

Having just struggled with Pedro I'm willing to have another go at a SCW subject.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

I’m in - enjoyed the 2013 GB.
Re: Spanish Civil War 85th - all subjects, civilian & milita
I was just wondering about this possible GB, is there enough interest for it to go ahead?
