Rules for using the Swap Shop - updated 2 Jan 2021

Post by JohnRatzenberger »

The General Rules

The Swap Shop is intended as a service to participating members of the UAMF community and is therefore only accessible members who have the minimum number of posts (see below).

The administrators of this forum and associated websites accept no responsibility or liability for anything advertised or requested here. You take part in any transactions at your own risk.

To preserve privacy, do not post personal contact or financial details regarding transactions here of either yourself or the other party -- use private messaging or email. Posting another person's details WILL result in an in an immediate and permanent ban, without discussion or recourse.

All goods advertised must be your property and you must be aware of no claims for its ownership.

All goods advertised must, as a general rule, be for the use of, or related to, modelling such as kits, aftermarket, tools, supplies or references. Anything that is deemed not for this use will be deleted and any adverts that are deemed by the Admin Team to be wholly unsuitable (ie pornography, freeware, counterfeit goods, etc) WILL result in an immediate and permanent ban, without discussion or recourse.

Minimum Numbers of Postings

In order to use the Wants & Needs and Disposals Forums, we require members to have made at least 40 posts within the Forums. This applies to both sides of a transaction - buyers and sellers. The quality of those posts will be assessed by the Admin/Mod Team, so as to prevent trite comments being posted simply to boost a persons count. Postings made on the old forum site do count towards this total.

Ebay Sales Links in the Disposals Section

The 'Disposals' section exists for community members to trade directly amongst themselves, not to provide further advertising for their Ebay auction links.
THIS FORUM IS NOT AN ADVERT SERVICE FOR EBAY.
By all means offer your sales to the forum members before listing them on Ebay, but posting up direct Ebay auction links is strictly forbidden.

Prices

Please make sure you add the price you want for the kit on your listings. Some people actually do forget to do this.
