I have checked the Sqns that flew Spitfires and 208 Sqn flew the Vc then the FRXVIII so I could be persuaded. Depending on the when put me down as a ‘possible’.

If memory serves me correctly 208sqn was involved in the Spit v Spit v Spit incident during the Israeli war for independence.

All the best

The last FRXVIII, I saw in kit form was the early MPM offering, which was a bear of a kit. Now, perhaps somebody could persuade MPM/Special Hobby to bring out a new tooled version. Ah the days of extra thick sprue gates, vac canopies and white metal parts..
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Chuck - are you still up for leading this?

How does the beginning of August to the middle of September sound?

I don't think I've expressed my interest in this one yet so Yes from me and Yes to the dates proposed.

OK, I will pencil this in as 15 Aug - 30 Sep, but we do not appear to have a GBL for it.

Thank you all for your interest, we'll get it sorted soon.
