Astronaut Micheal Collins. R. I. P

Post by Gregers »

I have just heard that Astronaut and test pilot Michael Collins has passed away today age 90. As you may be aware he was command module pilot on Apollo 11, his fellow crew members Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first people to walk on the moon. He was also crewed with John Young on the Gemini 10 mission.

God speed Major General Collins.

His role has been so unfairly overlooked.

Sad news. Time marches on. Always felt he knew how to keep things in prospective.

Very sad news indeed. I follow him on Facebook but haven't spotted any news of his passing.
