If this is a goer, I'll need to see we have the requisite number of positives (not maybes). Can those positively interested hold up their hands, so Greg can add a list to the first post to keep track?

Thank you Paul,
I really hope this one goes through. And remember, it wasn't just an air war. The ground troops and Navy were all part of the equation for both sides. One of my options was a Landrover (Italeri kit) but I have decided I want to do an aircraft build for this.
Looking forward to the show of hands folks.

All the best

As I mentioned earlier, I have had this set for years and it was always my intention, having mounted the box cover on a backboard, to have each aircraft built and projecting out of the picture on brass rods or something similar, and to substitute the Airfix 1/24 FRS.1 blasting out of the top above the others. However, having started to build the kits they are absolutely pants - all nasty, old tool basic kits, so I may resurrect the project for this GB but choose better quality kits for each of the 1/72 subjects.

In fairness the (ex Special Hobby) Pucara wasn't too bad although needed a lot of work, but I am open to suggestions for a good (but not state of the art) 1/72 Mirage III, Harrier, Skyhawk & Etendard please.
cheers
Al.

Esci for the 1/72 Shar and GR3 (I think Italeri issues them now), Heller, Revell or Frog for the Mirage III (but not all have parts to make a Dagger), Skyhawk Esci or Fujimi? Super Etendard I think there's only Heller/Airfix and Academy.

Should someone wish to go down the state-of-the-art route, Airfix do a GR.3 and will be releasing a Sea Harrier FRS.1 early in 2022, while they also do a new Skyhawk.

PM did a Dagger, not sure if it's one that got re-released recently.

Not 100%sure on this but the Dagger in the set may be the PM one.
The new Airfix A4 looks to be a superb kit.

OK, so this has the numbers to go ahead. Dates.

So the War ran from April 2 to June 14, but that's 10 weeks and a bit long for a GB I feel. But the first Black Buck raid was May 1, so how about May 1 to June 14?
