I read that book recently. It is indeed an excellent read. In fact it was part of the reason for my suggesting this GB.
I have dug out a Pucará, skyhawks, Harrier, Sea Harrier and Mirage kits out. My build(s) will probably be chosen from these.

I fancy joining in for this but will wait until the 2022 GB dates are decided to throw my hat in.

It's on the calendar for May 1 to June14, 2022 and I'll not put anything else up in that time slot.

May I join in this GB? I have an Esci SHAR and an Airfix GR3 which need building. I also have the Airfix Falkands set transfers. I won't be using the Argentine ones so if anyone needs a set for the Skyhawk or Mirage/Dagger, let me know and I will send them.

Evening All, has anyone ever built the Accurate Armour Combat Engineer Tractor as there were a couple down there. It looks really detailed but way passed my level of skill not to mention price range!

I'm really interested in this but the timescale just won't allow me to build what I'd like to do for the anniversary; a 1/350th resin HMS Glamorgan.

I'll be watching with interest though.

Hi Freddy.
As Stuart said, GB,s are open to all members. Welcome aboard. Looking forward to seeing those Harriers. I am going to do at least one Harrier/Sea Harrier and something Argentine. Pucara or Skyhawk maybe.

Thank you Stuart and Gregers. I suppose doing a Harrier isn't the most adventurous approach, but, not having built anything at all for at least 15 years now, it'll be fun just to see how it goes. I'll be relying on a hairy stick - I don't expect to use the Testers airbrush which I bought in 1990 and never mastered (too cheap, really to be of any real use and trying to run it off an aerosol is hopeless as the aerosol simply ices up. And it uses screw-on jars underneath so in order to paint anything you have to mix up enough for a garage door before it will even suck any paint up!)

I still have the Argentinian transfers if anyone wants them.

Don't forget me Greg. I'm in with an Argentine Mirage and possibly a SHAR.
