Hello from Essex
Hi all, I’m a recently returned modeller basically the last 2 1/2 years. I started modelling when I was at school and continued till my early 40s mainly aircraft . I don’t know if I fell out of love with the hobby or the fact I had a busy work and family life but stop I did . Roll on 20 odd years and I was at the tank museum Bovington with my son who is a ww1 nut, walking around the shop at the end of our visit I noticed the model kits. Browsing through the kits my son said didn’t you make models in the past and why don’t you buy one . You probably know where this is going ! needless to say the the old bug was back. I now model tanks and military vehicles because I love having fun weathering them , also good for covering up the odd mistake! I’m looking forward to participating in the forum and talking to the great modellers who are on here.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Do you have a preferred scale for tanks & military vehicles or just build by subject?
