Revell 1/24 Land Rover Series III

Post by HMS Saumarez »

Painting it BT yellow and doing it as a BT repair/service vehicle. Anyone know of some 1/24 scale ladders and beacons to go on the roof? ;-) obviously still in progress...

Oooh. NICE. I have one of these to go at and considering building it as the series 2-3 Hybrid I owned (see pic below). Looking forward to seeing your build. I am a Landy fan (currently wearing a Landrover t-shirt too) it is a shame there are not more kits of Solihull's finest.

All the best

Make the ladders out of balsa wood and wooden dowel. I did some for a fire truck.

Or, if you want them I have the plastic ladders I replaced.

For the beacons try some LED's. The red one is 10mm and the yellow one is 5mm.
