Just a quick build for demonstration purposes. This set is designed for war gaming like many Zvezda models and as such comes as a snap together kit with a base on which all the pieces can be mounted if desired with a banner type thing to add to the base (which I haven't) which presumably would have something added for war gaming/identification purposes.
I was very pleased with the feel of the "snap" together parts although I will now deconstruct and paint all of the parts for individual mounting in a diorama scene with an Fw.190 of my choosing. The plastic is quite soft and I found it difficult to remove parts from the runners without having to clean up the remaining stub afterwards with a sharp knife. There are also some mild mould seams that needed a soft scrape to remove them. I am very much looking forward to applying some paint to these and doing my best to weather them to make them look as good as the box art.
Cheers
Al.

Interesting. How does the plastic compare to the Airfix soft plastic figures?

They look great for 1/72 figures.

I like their mini wargaming kits. They cover a lot of subjects that don’t get good coverage in standard figure packs.
I may have to try and pick that set up for my two WWII German fighters.

All their figures appear to be hard plastic. I have quite a few sets now, all WWII Fall of France / Dunkirk themed. Highly recommended.PaulBradley wrote: ↑September 7th, 2021, 2:52 pm Interesting. How does the plastic compare to the Airfix soft plastic figures?
So many models, so little time.
