RAN LHDs December 2021

Post by skypirate »

Better pics than in my workbench, as promised.
Photographed at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour (Fleet Base East) on 15 Dec 2021.

The design is adapted from the Spanish Navy Juan Carlos though there is no plan yet to operate fixed-wing aircraft from the RAN ships. They have exercised with US V-22 Ospreys on deck.

Cheers,

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing
