Same here, David, really looking forward to meeting you. I haven't managed to get to SMW for quite a few years and I'm really looking forward to it. All being well, see you tomorrow!

Daz and Skypirate caught fortifying themselves for a hard day on the Cold War hustings.

Actually, I must admit I spent more time at the next table with the CBK SIG.

Busy day!

I have to compliment Daz on his choice of wine, very nice indeed. That was a really excellent weekend and it was great to catch up with the CBK and Cold War crews together with Ratch and Chris and, of course, the Three Amigos, safe trip back to the US and Oz, guys. Sorry I couldn't stay longer today but my mother in law has been suffering some health woes over the past few weeks and, although her health has recently improved, Mrs W wanted to get back in reasonable time to check all was well and help with some of the medication that her equally elderly dad struggles to manage.

We're doing fine, Stuart, ta very much and hopefully now I will finally be able to return to the bench. I bought a couple of Real Aeroplanes from those very nice men at Eduard over the weekend in the shape of a Sopwith Camel and Bristol Fighter so, all being well, I should be indulging in some stick and wire modelling for your delectation/amusement!

Well, it's over; done and dusted.

I can attest that the CBK SIG table I spent most of my time at attracted many, many devout CBK worshippers (and I sent many on to the Nostalgic Kits SIG table behind us after we had wrung them out); bloody well done Matt and James and Chris and Ratch! Daz and the gang at the Cold War SIG table alongside had an extra attraction with their food and wine!

Great to meet ShaunW, and Spaceowl and Stupot briefly. Not to mention Iggie and TeeELL who had already joined the caravan here and there.

Thank you all for making new UAMF member Richard, and I welcome; I know Paul would say the same.

Top stuff! I hope we inspire more international UAMF members to attend. James cleverly suggested they come a week early and build models for display (instead of transporting them).

Cheers, everybody!
