Falcons 2022 Workbench

Finished this morning, Airfix 1/72 Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B
Painted using Gunze Sangyo, Tamiya and Humbrol acrylics and a combination of kit and Xtradecal decals.

Wow, just wow. A Buccaneer in my favourite colour scheme. This looks really really good. Well done.
When I was a young lad, I spent a lot of my time browsing my favourite book, the matchbox catalog, and one of my favourite planes I dreamed about getting was the Buccaneer because of this colour scheme. In the catalog, it just looked incredible and you have done a perfect rendition of that catalog picture. I never did buy one because it was in the next step up and far too expensive for my meagre pocket money to afford.
Thanks for bringing back those memories.

Superb Bucc Chris. Agree with BT the wrap around camo does look great.

Wow!! Agree with BT on the wrap-around camo - I have enough trouble doing one side correctly; I wouldn’t even try that !

Fan-bloody-tastic! Beautifully finished!
I have been avoiding the new 1/72 kit but this is a great advertisement.
