Fleet Air Arm: Camouflage and Markings,Atlantic and Mediterranean Theatres1937-1941 by Stuart Lloyd
The choice of aviation booklets at W. H. Smiths appears to have come on leaps and bounds this summer.
Packed full of B&W photograpfd and colour artist's side views, it covers Seafox, Skua, Swordfish, Walrus, Gladiator and Fulmer, Albacore, Martlet. Also Air Ministrey colour charts.
Anyone looking for operational details will be dissapointed because the Emphasis here is as the title suggests. I was looking for details of Swordfish K8373, but nothing and I'm still tyring to understand the codes, number and letter. Tables help here.
Airfix's A04053A is illustrated but allocated to a different carrier.
Dalrymple & Verdun Publishing 2008, £24.95, 152 pages
