Airfix English Civil War Pikeman 54 mm

Post by AndrewR »

Here's the ECW Pikeman, done as a member of the Earl of Manchester's Regiment of Foote, a re-enactment group belonging to The Sealed Knot.

Paints are a mix of Vallejo Colour, Vallejo Air and AK 3rd Gen acrylics. In addition Vallejo Sepia, Umber and Flesh washes were used. I hadn't done one of these since 1978, so it was a nice change.

Looks good
Will you put some grass scatter on the top of the base?
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Yes, but I've run out of a suitable colour!

Make your own; some dried leaves crushed up, some waste from a teabag, a bit of fine soil, mixed with some PVA glue. Cheap as chips

Looks good you could also just use some dirt on white glue for the base.
