Still looking forward to this one.

I have a lot of USAF stuff in the stash. At the moment I'm thinking of building the first and the latest Jets in USAF service - so the F-80C and the F-35A. But I might just as well do the Italeri Blackbird I have... Choices choices...

Yikes, I'm getting ambitious!
I would like to participate with the Hasegawa 1/72 RF-101C converted to an A/C version, with aftermarket seat and decals.
Is that permissible?

Cheers,

David

Mind if I jump on board. I have a few kits that I have no idea why I bought them. Sabre, Blackbird and Mustang are the main candidates.
Best wishes

Just something to note - I'm actually going on Holiday for the last week of July and the first week of August. So whilst I'm still okay to be GBL during that time, and will probably take a F-80C kit with me to build and my PC, I might be more communicative during the morning and evening.

Still mulling over what to build - I have in the stash...

A-10A
F-4G
F-15A
F-15B
F-15C
F-16B
F-35A
F-111E
F-80C
F-100D
CH-53
SR-71
C-130
T-38

And probably others that I've forgotten.

Re: USAF 75 Years GB *** On 2023 GB Calendar *** Clarification

Post by Chuck Finley »

Just wanted a clarification on a few questions that came to mind:

1) What about Air National Guard aircraft from that period? I have some ANG subjects that would fall into that category.
2) If not, what about Air National Guard units that were federalized for certain operations. For example a Alabama ANG RF-4C from the 106th TFS or New York ANG F-16A (Boys from Syacruse) that few in Operation Desert Storm 1990, or one of the units federalized for the Berlin Crisis of 1961, Vietnam, In addition, you had Air National Guard KC-97s supporting USAF units in Europe for 10 years during Vietnam.
3) Finally what about prototypes? I am thinking about the Lockheed XF-90, North American YF-93, and McDonald XF-88 that are sitting in my stash.

Count me in in any case but I have this itch to finally build the KC-97L that has been sitting in my stash for some time.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!
