1/72 Trumpeter Type 61 medium tank

Post by Bissyboat »

We’re heading far East, towards Japan. This medium tank was a modified version of the M47 (Roku-ichi Shiki sensha). The development started in 1955 as a response towards the growing threats in the East, after the Korean War. 6 years later the Type 61 would be deployed. Over 560 units were produced and used in active duty until 1975. She weighed 35 tonnes and was armed with a 90 mm rifled cannon. Model was airbrushed and treated with pin wash using oils.

Excellent job BB, yet again it's hard to believe it is only 1/72 scale.
