East German Air Force: Final Flightline

Post by CementNotGlue »

Airlife Publishing ltd. 1993 by C.J. van Gent

The title gives away the content; pictures of aircraft of the DDR. . of the Nationale Volksarmee towards the end of its existence, so forget any silver/aluminum finished aircraft (with the exception of one Mig-21USM) all the aircraft are camouflaged including an Ilyushin IL-28 Beagle that soldiered-on well past its fly by date.
It's value for money considering every page is a coloured photograph. For diorama builders there are two vehicles and a hardened a/c shelter. Most of the transport, fighter, trainer and helicopter types are included, just how useful it will be is hit and miss, but it has encouraged me to model aircraft that earlier I would have not considered.

Sounds interesting. I think I'll look this one up.
