Hinkley show 2/4/23

Took a road trip with Craig today down the M1 to see the East Midlands Model Show in Hinkley. Just under an hr and half later saw us walking in to a busy hall packed with a good few traders and plenty of Sig/Branch tables displaying their wares. Disappointingly there were a few no shows and probably around a dozen empty tables. A few bargains were there to be had, plus a pleasing lack of silly Ebay prices. The new Airfix PR Mossie was on offer at £20.50 and also the post war boxing of the Tempest for a tenner, going against my don't buy any new kits mantra I succumbed and took one of these home with me after parting with said pounds and pennies. Craig even opened his Fort Knox of a wallet and picked up a few items, knocking his whopping £3.00 spend at Telford into a cocked hat!
I've taken some images and will add them later this eve.
All in all not a bad day out and hopefully It will spur me to light a candle under my stalled builds again.
