Sure the original suggestion was tongue in cheek, but if it inspires a repeat of the Shelf Of Doom GB that would be great.

I'd like to take part but I'm worried I might not finish in time :ha:

I'd love to take part but I'm worried that I'll finish too early... ;-)
Best wishes

You would be banned Jim! Given your build rates.

DNF can be 'Do Not Finish' or 'Did Not Finish'. With the latter a GB could be made to finish builds not finished but started in other GBs. 'The Shelf of Doom' or in my case I call them MU, numbers 1 to 6, is for those other builds outside of GBs
Just sayin a thought

I am more than happy to remove my ‘tongue from my cheek’ and go with a modified interpretation! I’ve an F3 Tornado that would fall very neatly into the idea.

OK, so there's certainly the interest here for this to go ahead. Tony, you've put your foot in it and 'volunteered' as GBL for this (alongside your Weather/Climate GB). Let me know what slot you'd like to do this in - or perhaps more importantly, which ones you cannot!

Is this only for DNFs from another UAMF GB or just any DNF ?

I think the thought was incompletes from previous GBs, though I stand to be corrected

I think it should be any DNF, otherwise it's rather restricted.

Agreed. I'm struggling to think of any GB DNFs I have. There may be one or two but having a general "git 'er done" GB is definitely more appealing.

I did have it in mind to be a GB which would encourage the completion of models that were part of previous GBs but which fell by the wayside ie the modeller ran out of time and the kit was set aside for ‘another time’ and remains sat waiting for that ‘another time’. This then IS the GB that is the ‘another time’.

I empathise with Andrew and VV, if you make it GB DNFs you will exclude so people wo don't have any but may have other builds that need finishing off. Just my thoughts even though it doesn't actually affect me because I am in spades for either category!

Totally flexible - it was just a thought that those models that ended up with the dreaded ‘DNF’ label could be completed.

What if we leave it open to any shelf queen but strongly recommend to participants to finish a GBDNF if they have one?
