The vampire and Gnat look superb, beautiful finish on both.

So coming back from Telford I've often put the mojo boost into cracking on with one of my new purchases and though I was tempted to make a start on the Patlabor Mecha kit, something else needed my attention first...

... my model room was a tip. Over the last year it had become a dumping ground for various related activities and there were piles of kits to sell ( from 2 years ago) and a collection of salvaged packing materials, piles of magazines, instructions and decals that needed filing, electrical paraphernalia and host of other accruded kibble. So most of my spare time since SMW has been sorting these areas out one-by-one and I once again have room to swing a very small cat.

What I did do was add some stencils to my Vampire build as I acquired additional sheets at SMW and also realized that I had missed that it should have a painted nose wheel door - literally X marks the spot!

Ditto..... I turfed out some old magazines, after recovering some useful articles, boxed up some books that have become surplus to requirements, then moved some boxes with stuff I brought back from my mum's a couple of years ago that I'm still not willing to sort out and put those on a high shelf in our bedroom closet for another day. I think I might now have room to swing a small gerbil.

So rather than knuckling down to my ongoing projects I, of course, started something new

Here's a sort of suggestive hint
