This batch are painted as early WW2 types, roughly 1939 - 1941-2

These are from the Airfix RAF Emergency Set, which shares some figures.
Just a couple of figures painted as RAF Personnel wearing 'Denims'. These were issued in the early part of the war when the blue-grey version of the army's battledress, called ‘Suits, Aircrew’, was in short supply. I don't know whether firefighters wore these, but they could just be ordinary Erks, manning the pumps in an emergency.

Four of the figures in the RAF Refuelling Set (A302V/A03302) are taken from the 01747 set of figures. Here are two of the poses, painted in early WW2 'Denims'.
