how many of you can remember these cars they was very popular back in the day it is the morris minor 1000 in 1/24 scale it is a resin kit the body has a lot of flash on it but a good sharp blade and and care will soon sort that out i have not had a proper look at the rest of the parts yet next time at the bench i will have a good look i do not know what colour i am doing it yet i will have to do some research and have a look at the colours plus interior colour hope to start in the next couple of days

Yep, we had two when I was a kid: the first was a split screen with semaphore indicators, the second had a single windscreen and 'Dalek' indicators all round and more rust than solid metal

My dad's best friend had a green Morris Minor. Then he traded up and got a Wolseley 1300.

Way back in the early 70's I was a service engineer for a big printing machine manufacturer and guess what, my service van was a moggie 1000. They were everywhere then, British Telecom, water company's, British Gas, you name it they were using them.
The 'A' series BMC engine was bullet proof as well.

The real vans and pickups are as rare as hens teeth these days and fetch better prices than the cars due to their scarcity. Commercials tend to get discarded and most get scrapped soon after their working life is over.
