In memoriam: Dave the cat

Post by flakmonkey »

Gentlemen, it is with some measure of sadness that I must report the passing of long time workbench companion, Dave the cat.

Dave made his UAMF debut one chilly night in January 2008 during a Blitzbau, and became practically an honorary forum member. He dedicated his life to sleeping a lot, and was an accomplished sandwich thief. He has two confirmed laptop kills to his credit, method of choice being to upset the nearest beverage all over the keyboard with his tail.

An excellent accomplice for 16 years, who shall be sadly missed. Godspeed, you furry little b....

No matter their annoying foibles, they get under the skin, may he annoy non-modellers in his afterlife.
It's only pain, work through it.

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen. At least he didn't suffer a protracted illness or anything like that. It was very comfortable and peaceful for him. I have put him to rest under the Japanese maple in the garden, and shall lay a nice concrete slab as a marker.

Most annoying phrase.
"It's like a death in the family".
Wrong!
It is a death in the family.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!
