Lt L. Geotz Log Book and Photo Album

Post by Dirkpitt289 »

I found out that a co-workers father was a co-pilot of a B-24 during World War II. He was nice enough to lone me his fathers Log book and photo album. I thought I would share this with you guys. Its not something you see or even get to read very often.

Wow, that's some history right there! A fascinating and sobering insight into USAF life towards the end of the war...
Thank you for posting it, and thank you to your co-worker for allowing you to show what must be some very cherished documents. Please also thank them for their father's service 🙏
Best wishes

Yeah, to be honest these are so important to history and to HIS family history and yet he entrusted the documents to me for the brief time to read through them. It meant a lot to me, and i think its important to share them with everyone.

Wow, that’s really special, Dirk. These family histories are real treasures. There’s a book, or at least a magazine article waiting to be written there.
