The Ukrainians have found the remains of 8 Hurricanes:

Wonder if any of those will eventually become airworthy? While they appear to have had a lot stripped from them, lesser remains have found their way back into the air.

Objectively, none, these planes are dead.

Legally, as long as the original type plate still exists as part of the airplane, it is still considered the same machine even if every other part is rebuilt from scratch, so possibly quite a few. The type plates are effectively a licence to build brand new Hurricanes, without having to jump through all the regulatory hoops that would be involved for a new plane.

It would certainly be good to see a few more Hurricanes get back in the air
