Summer 2023 Blitz **Complete & Archived**

Post by PaulBradley »

Traditionally, we hold a summer Blitzbau in August - this would be Blitzbau XXXIII. Any volunteers to be GB Leader, and who thinks they might participate?

Maybe, I hate to see a tradition slip away.

I realize heat over there might be an issue, might be over here also.

Me Me and Me. And I will volunteer as GBL.

Summer Blitz's are normally low in attendance but we will persevere.

I have been absent for a while but will definately be up for at least one Blitz build. I'd better start looking for a victim.

I have to go into Belfast tomorrow. To a business literally only 20ft from my LMS. When I was in the LMS on Tuesday getting paints I saw he had some PM kits. A few were those Luftwaffe projects. There was one I've not built yet. If its still there tomorrow I think I'll buy it.
In the Blitz Build I'll Whif it as I did the previous one, but maybe this time in USAAF/USAF markings as this is USAAF to USAF year

Also, if I can find it, or them, I have an usual subject to build which I could do. 8-)

and; we are allowed 24 hours. 24 straight, 12 & 12
Can I do 3 hours on each of 8 days?

Just kidding

I may have to think about this, but I'm looking at the Sopwith Scooter VV did in the last one.
Better get looking for an alternative, my stash of blitz-able kits is low.

The more the merrier. I have a file card with a list of Blitzable kits on hand. I'm looking to a AFV subject in 1/76 right now. But always subject to change.
