Hello!

Post by DazDaMan »

I've not been around here for AGES, but I am trying to get up the courage to build something from plastic again!

Hiya. Re-started can be a bit daunting. A quick and simple out of the box build is probably a good appetizer.

Hey Daren

Good to hear from you. I completely agree with James, Pick a simple kit and build it straight out of the box to get your feet wet and see where things go from there. If you go to crazy with something more complicated and that might involve a lot of scratch building could easily derail your drive to continue. I look forward to seeing your return

Nice to hear from you, Darren.
I´ll start building & posting again, too - my club does a modelling weekend end of August :-)

Thanks, chaps.

I've been slowly building an Airfix Spitfire to blow the dust off. It's not perfect, but it's not bad!

To brush up on some of my skills, I tarted up this old FROG Spitfire Ia, using some decals that I had lying around.....
