Ah, the classic Tamiya Hanomag. That kit takes me back, Bissy, I can tell you. You've made a superb start to it and once again, as with your BMW motorcycle combination, you are demonstrating just what great models can be made from these fine Japanese classic kits with a some skill and TLC.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

That's great BB. The worn paintwork effect especially.
Thanks a million. True that. I wouldn´t recommend it. :-D

Thank you so much. That´s not a bad idea. I have many models that´s overdue for a facelift.

Thank you so much Shaun. I really appreciate the kind words. I have a lot of fun building Tamiya classics. They´re second to none in my books.

Wheels and tracks assembled. Weathered the chassis with an acrylic wash made of XF-55 deck tan and XF-80 Navy grey British. That done, I added a pin wash to bring out the rivets and the vision blocks. Decals also added. Nearly there now.

Looks really good, Bissy. Must have been thirsty work for the crew wherever they were in action though, judging by the amount of water they are carrying!

Thanks again Shaun. Unfortunately a misunderstanding on my part. Jerry cans were supposed to contain diesel. But I suppose the markings dictate that they contain water. Oh well. Water it is.

That is great BB. What is the stand you have it on? Looks like a potter's wheel or similar?
