That´s very kind of you Jim. I never pictured my Herc looking authentic. Thanks a million!

Thank you BT. It´s down to being stubborn as a mule and painstakingly patient.

Chipping effects with chrome silver/H-11 using a thin brush and occasionally a toothpick. Started off in moderation, but persistence got the better off me and soon enough I went all the way through the rabbit hole. When is it enough? Apparently not until every panel line has some silver on it. :-D

Wow!!! That's a lot of chipping! Nice effect though - that toothpick method works well - I might have to pinch that technique.

What nationality is this Herc going to be?

Thank you Stuart. Be my guest. You can dab or drag. Depending if you want speckles, chippings or scratches. It´s a simple and cheap method.
My herc is British as pork pie. More precisely from RAF 30 Squadron Brize Norton Oxfordshire 2013. 8-)

Nice choice - I used to live near Brize (but back in the days of VC-10s and Tristars).
