And this too -

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Heller kits are no longer cheap. But you can find some Heller car kits in Airfix boxes which are cheaper. Airfix re-boxed mostly the British, Japanese or Rally cars out of the Heller range

Now the question of "When"?

My main constraints are likely to be early May and late August next year, but other than that, I'm free.

I have just obtained the 1/43 Airfix E-Type as one build. Hopefully another kit will arrive from Hong Kong as a second option.

The 1/43 E Type is a nice kit, I built this one last year.

I already have a die-cast one in BRG, so I'll have to find an alternative colour!

I'm confused (it happens easily and often). Is this just civilian wheeled things for use on or off road or does it include trains? Are fire and police vehicles civilian?

Trains (civilian ones) and traction engines are in. Emergency vehicles are okay, although I would not allow paramilitary stuff such as MRAPS in police markings. There are plenty of genuine civilian vehicles to choose from. For myself, I will probably concentrate on classic sports cars.

I have a few 1/32 scale Airfix cars which really do need building so please count me in for this one.

I’ve plenty of 1/32 cars in the stash. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
