2024 Group Build - Sorting out the Calendar
Time for us to start thinking about when we want to schedule next year's GB. These are the selected GBs:
1. Weather/Climate named subjects, GBL TeeEll/Tony
2. C-130, GBL Stuart
3. Did Not Finish (but will now!), GBL TeeEll
4. Aerobatic Teams, GBL iggie/Jim
5. Road and Track, the civvie vehicle GB, GBL AndrewR
6. Sherman tank et ses derives, GBL PaulB
7. Caricature Kits GB, GBs flakmonkey/Steve, JohnRatz
8. Latin America GB, GB planecrazyman/Craig
Plus our two Blitzabaus in February and August and one slot that will remain open TBD.
We've already discussed making the C-130 GB a longer one as the subject models can be rather large - so 8 weeks for that one. The others can be standard 6 weeks. We can overlap by a week or so at each end if necessary. This is a sample - I will adjust as necessary to accommodate the C-130 GB:
GB leaders, please fight amongst yourselves for which slots you might prefer. I will pick up one of the remaining spots and one will stay blank for now.

Aerobatic Teams: anytime but January/February as I will be busy with real life interference...
Best wishes

C-130 GB - anytime before the end of may, so that David can join us before he departs for the far north - although we might need 8 weeks?
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

Yes, I'll juggle the timeframes once we've a better idea of when things might be - I'm planning on yours being 8 weeks.

Re: 2024 Group Build - Sorting out the Calendar
OK, so I've heard from all GBLs and this seems to be a pretty workable calendar:
GB Leaders - please let me know if this works for you - there's still time to shuffle them around a bit if necessary.
I know not everyone will be around for, or able to take part in, every GB, but I hope this will allow everyone to enjoy a variety during 2024.
EDIT: please see the GB calendar thread for the final and definitive 2024 calendar

Looks good to me. Can I build my Airfix Devastator in the TBD GB?

OK, I am a bit confused.
I found another 2024 GB calendar here and dates, orders and durations are different.
Which is correct?
