Can you colour PPP with paint?

Post by DavidWomby »

I think I read somebody here did that. Can I mix in black paint without affecting the putty's characteristics?

Thanks

I've not tried it myself, but if you can stop it 'going off' to quickly, I don't see why not...acrylic paint I would guess?
Best wishes

Yes, as long as it is acrylic and in small amounts. Of course, it won't be a dark black, more like a dark grey, but it does make it easier to paint over later.
