Revell 1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H diorama
Revell 1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H diorama
Panzer VI with foliage and 1/87 demolished building kit from Faller that ended up becoming a diorama about the battle of Cologne, 5–7 March 1945. Dioramas are not my strong point and I avoid it as often as I can, but this building fitted into the storyline with the tank and a few panzer grenaders. Brush painted and weathered with artist oils. Chipping effects with Pigma Micron pens.

Wow. Now that is some crazy camo painting! And you didn't wreck it with the weathering - congratulations. The oil paints must have taken forever to dry. Building and figures are great as well.
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

Brilliant camouflage painting! My recent 1/35th Tiger was bad enough to do, let alone doing three colours at small scale!
Best wishes

That is a great looking dio, Bissy and very well done with the camo on the Mark IV and the figure painting, neither of which is particularly easy in braille scale.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Thank you for the kind words. No. I managed to contain myself from going overboard with oils and pigments. Doesn´t happen very often on my part.

Thank you so much! It was my first attempt doing a three tone camouflage on a Panzer IV. I´m pleased that you like the look.

True that. Not easy at all. Thank you so much Shaun. I really appreciate it.

Cracking diorama Bissy, I don't envy you painting the cam but you've done a great job.
I wonder how effective that 'add-on' armour was as it looks like the machine gunner and driver weren't getting out of their hatches unless the turret was perfectly forward!

Thank you so much! I reckon that would be impossible, but the poor lads wouldn´t stand a chance, once they got a M26 up their rear end.X12A wrote: ↑October 16th, 2023, 5:23 pm Cracking diorama Bissy, I don't envy you painting the cam but you've done a great job.
