In Late Jan 2024, Apple TV will release Masters of the Air. A series about the brave young crews of the USAAF 8th Air Force 100 Bomb Group based in the UK. Staring at the time young upcoming actors, with one of them now a major star after the movie Elvis, Austin Butler plays a young Sqn Commander on B-17s. Check out the trailer on YouTube..

The series features B-17s. P-51s and FW190 and BF109s, we already have lots of the fighters already in stock in both 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32, but we have taken the chance to get the good value Revell 1/72 B-17 F and G Models in the warehouse ready. The Airfix version may be a little better but not as good margins to work with so we can offer a good deal. Revell have good numbers in their warehouse in Germany.

Its the general model buyer and members of the public that this will appeal to, and that's were most of the sales will go.
According to one US modeller on youtuber, you will not be able to get a B-17 model for love or money once the series starts.
