Academy 1/72 Fw190D9

Post by jssel »

Haven’t posted in a while so hot off the bench is Academy’s 1/72 Fw190D9. An easy kit to build and finish. Kit decals used and it is always hit and miss
with Academy decals. Colors used are from my dwindling Polly Scale supplies.

Thank you for looking

Glad you are back with us Jeff. Good looking 190 there and the base is very nice too.

It's good to see you back at the bench, Jeff and that is a great looking Dora - nicely mottled, not something I find particularly easy in 1/48th never mind in 1/72nd!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Work is the curse of the modelling classes!

Ooh I'd missed this. What a beautifully painted 190.
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

I really like that Jeff, lovley work indeed.
I've done the Airfix Dora and I'm sure there is an Italeri one hidden away somewhere. I need to get back in the swing of things before I attempt any mottling though.
