This is one for my Biggles display as an aerodrome cargo hack. It differs only from the box in that I left the WD decals off.
Very straightforward kit with unusually good fit for a Roden kit. No vices at all.
I built it over 2 evenings while on beach-side vacation. Colour is a 2:1 mix of olive drab and black green which coincidentally was almost an exact match for the plastic colour. Weathering was done with sepia wash and Tamiya pastel sets.

And for a sense of how tiny it is...
And that's the 28th and final build for 2023 done.

That's a great build of a nicely characterful WWI truck, VV.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Lovely job VV, all the better for being built in holiday!
Best wishes

Cute!
In a business-like, well-worn way.
Well done!

Interesting vehicle. This came out really nice to with the paint detail, especially considering how small it is.

B-but but... It's a Roden kit! How is that even possible?VickersVandal wrote: ↑December 30th, 2023, 12:43 pm Very straightforward kit with unusually good fit for a Roden kit. No vices at all.
Looks great to me VV. A real bare-bones early lorry.
I see you have the London bus as well - is Biggles home on leave? (I have the military version lurking in the stash.)
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.
