Super scratch built lantern. The cobbles and pavement look very realistic.

Re: B4en's Bodgery
Thanks very much guys, I'm honestly happier with the base and figures than the car. The finished article is posted up here: https://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=25293
Just one photo as a taster.
An old friend has just come out of hospital after a rather daunting operation - luckily he managed to avoid the worst of the possible complications. To celebrate I thought I'd make him something he'll like, and as it's an easy bit of scratching I'm making myself one as well. Feel free to make guesses what these will be.
Clues... They are from a cartoon. They will be mostly pink. They are not going to be full size - probably about 1/5 scale.

Great work on the diorama. The lamp post looks fantastic, especially for a scratchbuild. It fits very nicely in the overall scene. As does the car and cobblestones.
I have to admit I am drawing a blank on what the circles are going to be just yet.

Re: B4en's Bodgery
Cheers for looking and commenting everyone. I must admit I'm kind of relieved to call the Citroen done - Ace kits tend not to be relaxing builds, and that one was true to form.
The main bodies of the two items are done. I've dug out a couple of old cheapo craft knife handles which will become... handles! Scuffed them up with some emery paper to make sure the paint gets a good grip when things get to that stage.
It's not a food item, though it's often found in kitchens. Sometimes on a stand.
Nice try, but it's from a modern cartoon. Sci-Fi, if that helps at all.

Lol, another good try James! I see why you might think that though. Nothing to do with Leela, or the probulator.

Re: B4en's Bodgery
Definitely not eyes of any sort, even cartoon ones!
Lengthy interruptions from visitors yesterday so only got a little building done. However the basic stuff is now all together. Fingers crossed today I can get most of the rest put together/sculpted... If you watch the series guesses should be getting easier from now on.
The circle on one side is meant to be offset btw.

I'm not even sure I should post this - some admin please let me know if it's 'out of bounds' and I'll remove the photo.
Plenty of sculpting with Milliput done yesterday. I can't disguise the objects any more now. Rick and Morty watchers will recognise the Plumbus - well, a pair of Plumbuses, or Plumbi? They are a common household item in the show, with much fan speculation about what they are actually for. Yes, they do look pretty obscene and I'm sure that was the main point of them. I made wire frames for the, er, things in the middle before applying the putty. Still have the spikey bits to do on the other side. I think mine will end up in the bathroom to horrify visitors!
