Spot on, Jeff, that is a seriously good looking P-40. Double thumbs up from me!

Next on my hit parade is the Italeri 1/48 AH1W with the early exhaust shrouding. Going to try this on in the greys.

Cockpit squared away but having problems with mounting the dog house halves to fuselage.

Cool! Looks as if it is a relatively simple kit.

Got a box full of parts, Paul. Lots of load out options. I have a Whiskey’s in the Mix decal sheet to go with it.

Great choice and I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. Jeez, that thing is armed to the teeth!

Moving slowly along. I’m finding that with careful trimming and sanding things do fit. In the case of the “dog house” it is a rather large piece of very thin styrene. I ended up using a bit of super glue and filler, but even then the seam kept splitting.

So…………..I shimmed the inside with bits of sheet material for support.

Almost to the point where the cockpit pieces can be added next.

Somehow I missed the finish of your P40 Jeff - that model is truly a thing of beauty. 8-)

Nice to see a Cobra on the bench Jeff, it's always been my favourite attack Helicopter.

Fuselage halves together. Fit is rather sketchy. You have the gun turret, rotor mast and tail rotor pin to get sorted out. But they aligned all right and they move as advertised. But I guarantee the the rotor control links will break off before I’m done.

No that's really really nice! What scheme are you going for with this Jeff?

I always liked the later US Army Single engined 80s green Cobras, before they replaced them with the Apache.

Going with two tone greys.

Here is the first sheet of two decals. Need to decide which snake to use.
