Hello from the basement!

Post by KellerModeller »

Hi,
I've been lurking around since 2010 browsing this forum for inspiration, admired the results and enjoyed the build reports here for a long time :-D
My username is a direct indication to where my modelling room is located: in the basement (GER: Keller ;-) ).
I had the impression that this is a friendly space, so I am testing here if I will find the "discipline" for regular postings & updates from the basement.
I started scale modelling at the age of 7, my first model was a 1/72 PZL P.11 from PZW that was build with the help of my father, just as my second model the 1/72 Matchbox Hs-126 in its Revell re-boxing around 1994. Now that I am an old man (recently crossed the 40 ) I benefit from a dedicated modelling room and an understanding wife that respects my need for this relaxing hobby.

Hello. Does your location mean that refreshment is at hand at the correct temperature?

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Next step will be to find out how to post pictures, but I already saw there are some tutorials available here :-)

That's right, the modelling room is next to the "Partykeller", a small home bar with a counter, bar chairs etc.. and a fridge

Can anyone see a picture? I do, but as the file is from my PC that's not surprising :ha:
