40?!?! You young whipper-snapper you! Welcome to to this wonderfully insane and supportive forum, where only the bravest may tread (or something). :-D Don't worry about the moderators, most of them don't bite and if you throw a Starfix kit in their direction, it'll subdue them anyway!

Had to google "whipper-snapper", sorry ๐Ÿ˜‚. Now I get what you mean ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ
I've read so many desastrous things about Starfix kits, that I am somehow tempted to try one... ๐Ÿ˜‡
I like to carve old kits into something roughly aircraft/tank shaped...

I like the sound of your basement! 8-) Welcome KM.

Will I directly be banned, when I admit that in addition my wife is allowing me a display cabinet (albeit in a far corner) in the living room? ๐Ÿ˜‡
As I am in a medical treatment right now (nothing dangerous, more like "maintenance") there will be no new model completions in the next weeks, but I took some kits and basic tools with me so I can do some basic assembly and directly have something to paint on return home. Meanwhile I will spam enrich the archives with some previous builds.

And finally also thanks to the warm welcoming words that have been added meanwhile ๐Ÿค—

Hope the medical stuff goes well. For starfi , the 1/72 Mustang isn't too bad. it is on a par with the Matchbox kit. I did one, put it in the markings from the Matchbox kit and nobody noticed.

Thanks for the good wishes! โ˜บ๏ธ
I recently built a Mustang, but the A-4 is a type I would be interested in. But looking at my stash, buying anything additional seems to be not the best of ideas :-D
