3R Model 1/72 Stryker

Post by PGAS »

Here are some pictures of my 3R Model Stryker build. I can certainly recommend it. In this case I did just a little scratch building and used aftermarket wheels but the basic kit is very nice and the aftermarket items are not really required to build a good model. Fit is fine. No unfair challenges in the build.

This is it. The moment we should have trained for.

That could pass for 1/35 easily. Nice weathering.

Had to double check the scale. Thought it was much larger. Excellent work.

That is looking really nice, especially the dust effect on the wheels? 😀👍🏼👍🏼

Very nicely done! Must admit from the rear I wondered if the turret was taken from an old Daimler AC or similar. :)

That is a top class piece of small scale armour modelling, Paul, it really looks the business.

Beautiful, sharp-looking result as always, Paul! The dusty look on the lower hull and wheels is particularly good. I can't believe the detail and crispness you achieve, especially in a small scale! :O

Great result, even better considering it's 1/72 😳

Nice work, and a plethora of details. Those tires look very heavy duty.
