Cessna Crane/Bobcat RCAF - KP 1/72

Post by VickersVandal »

I threw this together over the last 3 evenings to be ready for today's local IPMS monthly meet. The theme was " Terrific Twins"

Fairly decent kit, though be prepared with filler. Instructions were a touch ambiguous on some things. Overall not too bad though.

I definitely want to build a civilian version - in dayglo orange eh, iggie? ;-)

Nice build. While my dad was in Air Corp advanced training he flew one. Another step along his way to B17’s

Really great to see something like this built up. Looks lovely in the overall yellow scheme.

The yellow has turned out really well. Another new type to me.

BTW: where is the spare wing?

Thanks everyone. The yellow scheme was a big part of the attraction for me. It's a cute aircraft in any colour though.

Nice one. Glad I could pay tribute at least in a small way to brave men like your father.
