Good day all!
I’m not sure if this is a real word, but I’m calling this the “Italeri quadrifecta”, a selection of four 1:35 Italeri kits combined into one vignette.
From front to back these are: the Italian navy’s Maiale “manned torpedo” and MTM Barchino, the German navy’s Biber miniature submarine, and a dock diorama set. I’ve included photos of the boxes in this post. The backdrop was scratchbuilt from pink insulation foam, and the “water” in the foreground is Craftsmart resin coloured with Tamiya acrylics and coated with Woodland Scenics “Realistic Water”.
The kits of these small subjects are straightforward and build up quickly and easily. I’d recommend any of them to anyone interested in these vehicles. The dock set actually contains double what you see here, as there are two modular sections which can be combined end-to-end for longer nautical subjects like a PT Boat or German E-Boot.
This is not meant to be a realistic diorama as I don’t believe these three vehicles would ever have been together like this; I just thought this dock set-up might be an interesting way to display these related WW 2 Axis subjects.
Have a great day!

They are all great builds and the final display is wonderful. Really impressive.
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

Outstanding build.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

That is a fine collection of interesting Axis naval vessels, Canuck and the dock section really sets them off nicely. Something a bit different for the modelling shelves, that's for sure!
