This is looking good so far and I'm glad that you're enjoying the experience. I vaguely remember that there was a fair bit of flash on the one I built 30 odd years ago! The Airfix Lib was one of the first 4-engined heavies that I ever built. I only got shut of what was left of it about three years ago.

The gun turrets all fit in very nicely. Another dry fit of the fusalage went together well. I'll probably be putting it together tomorrow or Thursday but I need to make a decision on whether or not to add some weight at the front.

Thanks.

That's what I thought but the question is where as a lot of the front will be visible. So I'm thinking behind the pilots there is a good bit of room.

35 cents stuck in some filler gives it a good bit of weight.

Narayan,

What about sticking some of those cents between the cockpit floor and front wheel bay roof? Or maybe even a couple stuck to the front of the forward bulkhead. Paint 'em black or interior green and I'm guessing you wouldn't see 'em from the bombardier's window.

Maybe give you a bit more moment arm . . .

regards,

Martin

I did slide a couple underneath the pilots alright and she's quite heavy at the front now (Ooo er!) so that should do it.

The fusalage has gone together quite well.

I test fitted the wheels in the underside of the wings. They fit in nicely too.

More to follow tomorrow.

If you still don't have enough weight you could fit some in the engine nacelles.

Looking good so far though :)
