Cool looking Dora, Marek. But the submarine is just killer! I didn't know Germany operated subs after WW II. You did a great job on the finish. It looks like a heavy steel beast! What is the kit?

Ralph, it is a 1/144 Revell AG kit from late 90ies. Not a bad kit but newer ones have more detail, I am going to build 1/144 Kilo from trumpeter soon as ... ORP Orzel. It looks like a splendid kit and it is huge.

Thank You Guys again.

Little update on the Spad front from DNF fifites thread: I moved along a bit. Canopy closed. For the first time ever I have used the Tamiya's ultra thin on a canopy (instead of gator grip white glue or formula 560. It actually worked pretty well. It is basically fused. which is good for me.

And new decals arrived! Printscale, little bit on a basic side but definitely better than kit's

That is this kit : http://modelingmadness.com/scott/viet/p ... 51406p.htm
Quite a nice one, with little care goes together pretty painlessly.

Marek,
Very good looking Mystere. I think it turned out very nicely.

Superb work on the submarine U-24. It is so clean with wonderful subtle colour tones!

Really enjoying your work on the Provost too. I have this kit as well and was wondering how are you finding the fit of the kit? The parts look very nice on the tree but I know how poor fit can obliterate these details. You have kept the details very nicely.

Love watching the progress. :-D

The provost so far proved to be actually fitting together without major problems. Obvious choice of any jet to throw a fit about are intakes, this one is no different. There will be some filing into shape around intake-lower fuselage seams but overall it was not much of a filler hog. I had gaps in the wing/fuselage joints but there are always there for me in shortruns of today. The one thing I dreaded most; forward looking glass housing for the lights actually fit like a glove. How very strange :). Summarizing up to this point of build (and I have not proceeded any further since last update here) I have introduced more problems than the kit's engineering and fit and would actually recommend this kit to anyone.

Your Skyraider is looking good Marek; I have a Heller version but it doesn't look very good so it's about to go into the next stash clear-out!
The Hasegawa one is not cheap though, so I can't see me replacing it soon!

Update on few project coming along. I have been working on few of flyables and one bathtub shark when time allowed. No regular updates but now more of a combined one.

Sword Jet Provost - masking of anti-glare panel to be done, then white and red

Skyraider - major paintjob done, now needs to be touched up and glossed

SHAR FA2 from Xtrakit for the ISM group build is ready to be decaled.

And finally, Wolfpack 1/350 kit of German Type 214 basically assembled itself in an hour. After some compulsory cleaning, I undercoated it with black vallejo primer.

Looks like there is a light in a tunnel for some of them :)
