Morning Mark. That's a sweet looking model so far.
I'd get killed if I ever said 'the wife' again. We were out once and I made the mistake of referring to her like that. She asked 'The wife? Is that a bit like 'the car' or 'the stairs' or 'the washing machine'?" She even managed to say it in italics!

Never say "the wife" in the real world, especially when in earshot of the same. Only ever type it. On forums that she never goes on. Like this one. (I'm really brave when I know she won't be reading).

Lesley, who is my wife has never made a comment at any time if I have described her as `My wife` but does remonstrate if I have addressed her as SHE... :???:

Ok then thinking back to my earlier comment.....

Thanks Shaun and yes it's bimbling along nicely.

Legs on and DF loop aerial and cannons have been made from broken micro drill bits and inserted into the appropriate holes that were drilled earlier.

Don't you just hate it when that happens. You're only as good as the last mess you got yourself of though, good job there.

Nope the decals didn't bother me, my absence was due to the fact I nipped to the shop for some more milk and since I came back I have been working feverishly on the model.

Decals done and some from the spares box.
Post shaded the bugger.
Flat coat added.
Canopy added.
and finally nav lights added.

And so here it is finished at long last with 3/4 hr to spare....(Well it was when I finished it)

Actually this is not as bad as I thought it would be, I certainly didn't need to use a lot of putty maybe I was just lucky.
No doubt the nightfighter will be more problematic what with it having two seats and all.... :-D :-D :-D :-D

Thanks to everybody who took part with their witty comments and Jim thanks again for the poem.
