Just finished 'Out of the Blue' - the role of luck and chance in air warfare. Edited by Laddie Lucas. Published in 1985.
Full of anecdotes from WWI to Vietnam.
Absolutely wonderful read, often very moving. A 'keeper'.
Highly recommended for aviation buffs.
