Looks good to me. If you think the wash is too dark perhaps engage in a bit of dry brushing with the base colour to provide some highlights. A typical Spit cockpit is a narrow dingy affair at the best of times, especially if displayed with the hood closed.

Stuck things together. After that I did some filling and sanding.

Then I did a bit more filling and sanding.

Followed by some filling and sanding.

Finally a bit of filling and sanding.

Primer came next.

Bit of Humbrol H56 Aluminium.

It's aliiiive!

Decals can be both frustrating (not in this case) and rewarding. They really bring a kit to life for me.

I didn't like the aluminium finish so I went over that with a Revell Steel paint.

Lovely work. Always liked that scheme but never had the decals.
Just goes to show that you can never have to many Spitfires. Who knew? :lol:
