Greetings!

Some progress on the Toyota Celica. All the pieces for the cockpit have been cleaned and painted.

The chassis is currently being painted so while I'm waiting on paint to dry I have taken all the engine parts off sprues. A couple of these have been assembled.

Going back a bit, I really like the two Alpine Renault A110s. The colour looks great. Your Thunderbolt as well. Very nice finish on them. Thank you for the decanting instruction.

This is it. The moment we should have trained for.

I decided to stick with the original chrome on the kit. I wouldn't usually but this wasn't bad. Tamiya I suppose.

Greetings!

Even though I know it will be alright, I get nervous putting masking tape over decals. This is so I can paint the trim over the windscreen.

Worked out ok.

Greetings!

I bought this kit on February 10th and completed it today. That's definitely the fastest turnaround I ever had with a kit.

Tamiya 1/20 Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr.5. For a 1978 kit it goes together well. The chrome was pretty decent so I left it as it is. It is Tamiya though so no surprise.
