Hello

Post by dehavi harry1928 »

;-) Hello everyone. Airfix and me were pretty much inseparable when I was a boy. After a long, long interval I am back in the modelling fold with my little daughter by my side.

Two kids(one off to uni soon), wife and a dog, does not leave a lot of dosh for new models. With this in mind I am very impressed with a lot of the new Airfix new tools, and so a Mig 15 sees my return to the bench.

My user name comes from the fact that my dad was an apprentice aircraft fitter at DeHavilland just after the war(working on Hornets and Vampires) and so is a great source of info for me.

I am very glad to be part of this forum.

Hi and Welcome look forward to seeing your Mig. I'm sure some other people will like to tap your dad's knowledge ;-)
